Awesome. It's working!
I'm going to fiddle around with it.

Thanks Tim!

Hmm, when I try to pair Bigtree with Github again it's still in some kind of a redirecting loop...

It's allright, thanks a lot for diving in to it! We're going to try it out right now.

Ah, that's perfect! We're looking forward to it.
I don't have much experience with webhooks so I'm going to read a bit about it before asking too much questions here.
Thanks a lot for the quick help!

Ahh, so that's the cause..  Thanks for taking a look at this.
It would be really awesome if that's possible.
I'm curious.. are extension updates always served via the BigTree Extensions Archive Github?
Or is it also possible to create your own repository and update via that?

Hello,

In the past few months we have been busy building our own form builder extension. We're constantly improving and extending it for different customers. But now it's getting a little messy with all de different versions on different sites. So we would like to make an update function for it.

On the Bigtree extension download page there is a button that says "MANAGE YOUR EXTENSIONS".
When I click on it and try to authorize bigtreeCMS for Github it says "this application has made an unusually high number of requests to access your account. Please reauthorize the application to continue."
When I try again it keeps loading and I can't get it to work properly. Also in other browsers and on a Macbook (firefox, chrome)
Am I doing something wrong here?

Also, is it really required to make a public extension when you'd like to have the option to update it?
And does it automatically appear on the Bigtree Extensions download page?
We actually prefer to keep it private for safety reasons and becouse it is still kind of in a bèta phase.

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

A moment ago I clicked on a link on the Github link on this page: https://www.bigtreecms.org/developers/d … g-updates/
But I discovered that the link that should go to github.com, goes to github.cm, an unsafe site with lots of spam.

Not really a bug, but I thought, maybe it's good to give you guys a heads-up on this issue.

Hello,

When we'd like to login into a new Bigtree site, we get these errors popping up.
Sometimes it goes away in a few days, sometimes the issue persists, like now.
The error only shows up in Chrome. In Firefox everything works fine.

Do you guys know what's going on? (see screenshot)

Thanks in advance!

Ahh, I see.. After updating it works perfectly.
Next time I'll check if we have the latest version of BigTree before reporting bugs, hehe.

The error message someone uploads too many images would be a great idea indeed.

Thanks a lot!

Good afternoon!

We've been working on some websites and were using the normal uploader for most of the time.
But now we've got a project with lots of images so it's obviously better to use the image uploader.
To keep things organised, I'd like to create some folders for each product category inside the image uploader.

So I've tried to create a few different folders, but I encountered a problem when doing so:

The image uploader gets stuck, it keeps showing the spinning loading circle. When I refresh the page, fortunately, the folder is created, but it takes quite some extra time to do this every time.

I think I spotted a bug right there.

Also when uploading larger images or multiple images at once, the upoader gets stuck quite often.
Again, when refreshing the page, sometimes the uploaded images show up. But sometimes they also don't.
Iit's a bit of guessing if the images are still uploading or the uploader is stuck.

It would be really great if you guys could take a look at this problem.
I'm using chrome on a windows machine. A collegue of mine is facing the same issue. He has a macbook pro and is also using chrome.

Thanks in advance!

Hello,

I have a question about the callout overview in the developper section. How can we change the view of this? It would be really nice if we can drag them around to sort the callouts which have the similar purpose.

Thanks in advance!

Sometimes it's a bit of a puzzle to find out where we can edit a certain part of a page becouse it's generated from a module.
Especially with routed templates (product pages).

It would be really great to have the option to make a field called "related module" or something that makes a button that can go to the related module (or even a selected item inside a module). Or maybe when you click on edit in Bigtree in a generated page, you go to the related item created in the module.

We hope you guys could make something like this.
It would be really helpfull for the user experience of our customers.

Hello,

A client would like to be able to fill in a Google maps location on the contact page.
I'm using the bigtree formbuilder plugin for the form on that page so I was trying to add a new resource in the routed template from the formbuilder extension.

To keep my code kind of clean and flexible I'd like to put the Google maps code inside a callout.
I'd like to see the Google Map directly when editting the page so I'm using the "Advanced Callout Field Types" extension with the "inline callout set" field.

I can use this field in other templates and that works perfectly smooth, but in the formbuilder template when I click on the settings icon, nothing happens and I get a javascript error:

Uncaught TypeError:
Cannot read property 'toString' of undefinedhtmlspecialchars

Is there a way to get this working?

Thanks in advance!

Hello,

We're making a website for a client and they'd like to send a mail with a price offering when a customer fills out the form.
In the Bigtree formbuilder template there is a section field called "confirmation email template", this would be the perfect place to do just that.
But when we put the exported html from the mailchimp template  inside that area, everything is in plain text after sending the confirmation mail.
Is there a way to change that somehow?

Thanks in advance,

Robin

Hello,

I'm making a onepage website and I would like to put a form at the bottom of the page. Is there a way to include a form from formbuilder inside a callout? Or maybe via the basic template I created, through a list? Using the template of the extension seems to be a little unhandy becouse of the future updates.

Thanks in advance

Hello,

I'm creating a website for a client who gives workshops. She wants to show a scedule with the dates, starting / ending times and a title for each workshop session (like introduction lesson or painting basics lesson). When I try to save a date or time in the matrix field, nothing gets into the database. I now have created a "text" field for my matrix field, that should be the good way to go right?

Does anyone know how to do this. Thanks in advance smile

Hello,

I'm working on a website: www.helgaschouten.nl. When I click "edit content" or when I try to minimize the bigtree bar, nothing happens. I think I broke something... These are the classes on the body: "bigtree_bar_open preload". Only the "edit in bigtree" button is working right now and I don's see any javascript errors.

It would be great if you guys know what could be the issue.

Thanks in advance!

#49 Re: Developer Help » Pasting text from word » March 16, 2016 4:42am

Hmm, allright. I saw the "super paste"plugin from tinyMCE. That should do the job, but I think it's not for free. Another option is, like you said to paste as plain text. How can I activate that option in tinyMCE without editting the core?

Hello,

A client of mine is filling her website with content. Like many other clients, she would love to use word to copy her texts into the tinyMCE wysiwyg editor. I have been trying to use the "paste" plugin to remove styling  but I didn't manage to get it working. I only have a button which says: "paste" now, but it does nothing.
I know Word is always a struggle but it would be a really great advantage for my clients if they can copy their text from word into Bigtree.

So my quistion: Is there a way to paste text from word (or another program that's styling text) into tinyMCE, without losing the paragraphs and headings?  And how to do it the proper way. I prefer to not make changes in the core files becouse updates overwrite them.

Thank you in advance!
